Location

The Hamilton Lodge is located at 2.000 m in car-free Belalp, directly on the ski slopes (ski-in-ski-out) and along hiking trails, around a 5-minute walk from the Blatten-Belalp lift station.

The Belalp lifts connect the historic village of Blatten bei Naters with the Belalp at 1.300 m above sea level to 2069 m above sea level in summer and at 3112 m above sea level in winter.

with the Great Aletsch Glacier, considered a landmark of this region.

Easy to reach with the high-speed trains from Zurich, Basel, Bern, Geneva within 2½ hours!

Belalp can be reached by public transport to Brig, post bus line 624 to Blatten-Belalp, gondola/cable car to Belalp.

Snow guaranteed until mid-April,

very wide slopes, right next to the children’s paradise ‘Hexenland’, no waiting times at the lifts. Hamilton Lodge is located in the middle of the Aletsch-Jungfrau UNESCO World Heritage site, directly next to the lifts and next to the ski school.

This 3-star hotel has been run since 2003 by John Wegink, Jacqueline van der Drift and Ursula Keinath – Janser and is open 230-250 days per year.

The property was built in 1984 and extensively renovated and expanded in 2009 at a cost of approximately CHF 1,900,000.

The building makes a neat impression and has been well maintained over the years.

Investments

2021- 2023

In 2021, 2022 and 2023, over CHF 300,000 was invested in maintenance and improvements. Water supply pipes renewed, various interior fittings, furniture and painting work. Heating system: new boiler. 4 bathrooms and reception area renovated.

PROPERTY:

Building right no. (8376) on plot no. 7251,

Plan No. 44, located in the municipality of Naters. The building permit plot covers 560m2.

Hamilton Lodge AG is the holder of building rights. The Citizenship of Naters is the building authority. The building rights end on March 6, 2083.

Then the original condition must be restored. No compensation is provided. The building lease interest was paid for the entire period in accordance with the building lease regulations.

The building right is transferable and can be extended.

PURCHASE ITEM & PURCHASE PRICE

The object of purchase is the company Hamilton Lodge AG. The purchase price for the property (building rights) including small and large inventory is on request.

The company is being sold as part of a planned succession plan. The purchase can be made immediately or by agreement.
