The Belalp is part of the Unesco World   Natural Heritage site Aletsch-Jungfrau, situated at an altitude of 2100 meters in the canton of Valais. From the top of the Aletschhorn you can see the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, and standing at the Aletschbord you have the Matterhorn in full view.  The highest peak in Valais, the Dufour in the Monte Rosa range, is visible from the Hamilton Lodge. You can start hiking in this spectacular, car-free mountain area directly from our cosy and comfortable family hotel. In the winter this means ski-in ski-out, as the Hamilton Lodge is located on the slope, right next to the lifts and the ski school.
